just a slight conspiracy .. how much did a vote cost for the SP ?
and wasnt giggs an out side shot at the bookies ... possibly someone won a fair wedge from it.
IMO it should have been Button, and David Haye

Ryan giggs won it, because i think people like football more than formula 1 don't you agree?

in the UK at least but worldwide Motorsport/F1 is more popular.

I would phrase it differently. More people like Football than F1 in the UK, but those who like F1 tend to like it more - more passionately I mean.

I don't agree.
I'd say football is much more popular.
It is like religion in some parts of the world.

i can understand that, i bet over say a decade F1 would draw in much much more viewers.

since the others only take place every 4 years.

Really? Fair enoguh, I stand corrected.
I wouldn't say anywhere other than Italy (Ferrari) that F1 (Ferrari) is like a religion.
But football has here, Brazil (who are quite keen on F1), Italy probs, African places.
Other countries it is amazingly popular.
So i'm quite surprised.
Football appeals to the masses and its not too good for anyone, unlike F1.
Football anyone can have a go at.

What about all domestic viewings in football added up?
Thats what i'm thinking.

yeah but thats Motorsport vs Football in general surely?

If you take into consideration the massive figures Nascar and Indycar get in the US then i imagine motorsport would come up on top.

I don't think that judging it by viewing figures paints the full picture though.... :scratchchin:
