I'm sorry to sound annoying but why should Schumacher winning every race irk 99% of everyone?

He retired just before I started watching so I'm a bit uneducated. However - if Formula One is the premier motorsport competition, then shouldn't the best driver in the World be entitled to race in this series, even if it means a yawn-fest for the viewers?

If he is the best in the world, and he does win most of the races next year - that is a good thing. It will show to us that our current crop are not worthy of being called great.

Martin Brundle said in the coverage of the 2007 Spanish Grand Prix that is was almost certain that Schumacher would be back.

Who would Merc sign if it wasn't Schumacher?

But he's not the best driver in the world and he wont be winning every race. It wont be a yawn fesst for that reason not by a long long way. If you'd been around to watch Michael you'd have seen that yes he was obviously an excellent driver but thats not how he won so many races.

This could be a great season, Schumacher was and may still be the greatest driver i have ever watched and i look forward to see him and hamilton go head to head.

As much as I don't like Schumi, he is the best driver of the last decade imo. Will be very interesting to see how he gels with the new team.

schumacher is just too good a character to not have in f1. like him or hate him he has provided us with some classic moments, both good and bad.

it's just a real shame kimi isn't still around to have another go at him.
