I'm a big fan of Porsche and their philosphy of what a sports car should be, but this thing looks like a suppository.

I like the car and the TT 4WD version should be a beast I just hope the drivers wheel well has been increased. I have driven a few 996's and without proper driving shoes it is almost impossible to play footsy.

I don't need any schooling on its ferocity or the fantasticosity of its innards. I speak only of its looks. Maybe you like the looks. if I could afford it, I might be able to swallow that. OTOH for someone with that much wealth there is a pantheon of different mighty 4 doors out there.

I've never been a fan of the Porsche form factor. This one doesn't look too bad though (for a Porsche that is).

I personally think it's sacrilege; Porsches should not have four doors, it's not a family car... and as for Aston Martin making a four door DB9... :banghead:

I'd rather have the four door DB9 than the Aston Martin Cygnet. :yuck:
If I had to go four door GT, wouldn't go for either the Porsche or the Aston though....would have to be the Maserati Quattroporte :cloud9:

I think I would rather wait a few months for the 4 door Nissan GTR

I don't even mind that it's a four door and it doesn't offend me that they made a four door. They jumped on the SUV cashgrab bandwagon long ago so I wouldn't want to apply two standards here. It's just that it looks like a suppository. When I first read theis was being considered, I imagined a 911 nose and tail with a door's worth of length added, and that's what I got.

Before any of you call it sacrilege for a sportscar maker to make a four door, make sure they haven't already made one, lest you reveal that you know little of your sportscar "religion".
One of my favourite 4 door supercars is this:

Yes it's an Aston Martin. It's the early 80s Lagonda.

And here's the old QP just for old times sake:

I'm a fan of this design school although I rcognize it would look very out of date if designed now.

BTW OT but have you ever seen an Aston Martin Bulldog?

I still have the 1980 R&T mag that has it on the cover.

I remembe the AM Lagonda. It had the latest tech of the time (things that would be standard today or rethought entirely) but it was oh so refined and exsquisite..

Ugly from some angles, vomit inducing from the others. Give me an old M5 any day of the week.

I would drive that. That probably seems sarcastic, but I'm dead serious.
Oh and the Panamera ain't that bad, but I don't really focus on Porsche.
