The new Avatar film doesn't at all appeal to me

+1

I know I will never watch this movie...unless I have nothing to do at all.

I said the same to Star Wars(all of them), Star trek(all of them), Lord of the rings (all of them)...I've never watched them...And I think this situation will never change.

Ooo Star Wars I liked, except the 2 first new ones! I havent seen Return of the Sith yet but its on next week :D
Stat trek- Only seen new film which was AWESOME, but there are good looking actors in it too ;)
And LotR, seen all of them, third installment is the best!

Revenge of the Sith is the best of the prequels by a long way

Star Trek has it's ups and downs.
Star Trek I: The Motion Picture = Dull, dull, dull. Also dubbed 'The Motionless Picture' because it's just so DULL.
Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan = Awesome!
Star Trek III: The Search for Spock = Average but it's part of the Star Trek trilogy from Trek II-IV so it's worth watching
Star Trek IV: The Voyage Hone = Brilliant and Hilarious, infinitely quotable.
Star Trek V: The Final Frontier = Hideous. Shatner directed this and it shows. The crew of the Enterprise search for God, it's really that bad.
Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country = Brilliant. A bit more politics in this one but it's easily one of the best Trek films.
Star Trek VII: Generations = Okay, a mix between the Next Gen and Original crew but it's quite forgettable.
Star Trek VIII: First Contact = Awesome. The best Next Gen movie and probably tied with Trek II as the best all around Trek movie (discounting the new one)
Star Trek IX: Insurrection = Dull, not quite as dull as The Motion Picture but still fairly dull.
Star Trek X: Nemesis = Pretty Awful although not quite on the level of The Final Frontier.
Star Trek XI: Star Trek = Great, looking forward to many more

LOTR = Bloody Brilliant :thumbup:

Two Towers

I think Two Tower is my favourite mostly because of Helm's Deep. Although I found the Ents a bit boring.

Bah, its the fellowship of the ring thats the best one. Really brought the world to life. But I think thats more personal since its what I enjoy more.

The rest were just mass hollywood action scenes.

:yikes:

Avatar I can understand but Star Wars, Star Trek and Lord of the Rings are brilliant.

I assume they are....but for some reason I never feel like watching them.

saw avatar went for the 3d one because i like looking like a dork in massive glasses, so much so i decided to keep them on for the rest of the night. - i was going for the seb vettle look :P

Seriously though its visual stunning especial in 3d first 3d film i've seen and its not that red and green crap its proper full colour hidef 3d, the special effects are very good, the landscapes are up there with the LOTR.

The Plot was ok but there were some bits that were tried to be all anti global warming which just weren't needed, it did drag on abit and there wasn't much depth, but if you want an action movie with good visuals then go for it.

Oh and Bruno go see rent the star wars and star trek box sets i can understand not seeing star trek but Star Wars? sort that out :P

Then find about 10hrs and just watch all 3 Lord of the rings extended editions or read the book!

Wrath of Khan is definately the best, Final Frontier was awful. I remember a friend of mine who used to tell me random pointless facts about that one such as Shatner was apparently lecturing some extras and then his wig suddenly fell off, they laughed at him and then got fired.

I really liked Avatar, in 3D it was just awesome. though Sam Worthington needs to work on his American accent, he still sounded Aussie to me :hehe:
