Shame about Kimi missing out.

Yeah it is, this season is going to be so exiting for so many reasons, he will come crawling back after a year in the WRC with anyone that will give him a ride, I would put money on it.

Kimi doesn't do crawling back.

[when Homer asks for his job back, he is pointed to a doggie-sized door marked "Supplicants." He emerges in Burns' office on all fours, dusty and coughing]
Mr. Burns: So... come crawling back, eh?
Homer: Seems like the classy thing to do would be not to call attention to it.

Kimi doesn't do crawling back.

Does it on a weekly basis though when coming home from the bar

That's great news, I have never wanted a driver to get a drive as much as I have Kobayashi since his amazing debut in Brazil.

If Sauber can come up with a half decent car, I wonder if the Japanese could get on the podium or even a win?

LOL....all be it very optimistic, I wouldn't be surprised...not after the way he tackled world champions and faster cars at the end of last season. I think this is surely a man to watch, and many a pundit may even utter the tiresome term...a Japanaese Schumacher, I am sure

The thing about most Japanese drivers that make it into F1 on merit, I'm not talking about the numerous pay Japanese drivers, they are very brave but most lack the talent to pull it off, look at Takuma Sato, I believe that Kamui Kobayashi has the talent to go with the braveness, I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do!

[Bruno_Brazil]

Kobayashi is the driver who has more fans in F1. Thats's for sure!

I haven't seen anybody that doesn't like the guy!

Sort of.... (EVERYBODY STAND UP)........ Markus Winkelhock - AMEM - (Now you can have your sit).

[vaptin]

Wait until he crashes into hamilton or something, his popularity will then fall like Gordon Brown's.

Ahh Winkelhock, it's a shame nobody's given him a look-in anywhere in the last two years.

It wouldn't be good for F1...he would finish the racebefore the rest of the grid even complete the 8th lap.

I like to think Kobayashi has more control over that 'kamikazi' instinct.
