Koenigsegg were admirable in their intention's but in all reality it was merely a "pipe dream". My perception is that Koenigsegg would have lost much of their exclusivity and brand name thus distancing themselves from the exclusive clientel that they have worked so hard to attain. I fear that the focus of the company would eventually become clouded and the loss of Koenigsegg would be immenent.

It'll be sad to see the Saab marque disappear but it was almost inevitable once GM took over the company.

Well we all know Spyker paid $74M for Saab to GM then made $200M off selling old models to Beijing Automotive yet now it seem's Spyker is shifting focus (or funding) by this news:

I thought there was a news thing on top gear last year or the year before, about how new laws in Europe say for this CO2 garbage that for ever high end super car or for ever car that is over the limit by so much they have to sell so many other cars that are way below to offset it.

And saabs put them right into that safe zone.


They cracked wise about the law on top gear by saying "Ok so we have an exclusive picture of the new aston martin" and it was like a fiat with an aston martin badge chopped on the front.
