I'd have preferred anyone to Ryan Giggs. Seriously, what has he done that is so exceptional this year? Why was he even nominated?

Well, he was an integral and influential part of the championship winning and European cup finalling team... so i guess that's fair reason for nomination. He only won cause he's a footballer though i guess. Which is the problem when it's left to the public because most have only heard of a handful of nominees.

I would have liked to see Jenson win but F1 isn't such a massive draw as Football, Tom Daley would have been a great winner as he is from my home town and to win on the world stage at the age of 15 years is something special. I think Giggs won it because of his long history at Manchester United, 20 years at one club and his massive contribution to the clubs success more than what he achieved this year. Damn it was hard to say nice things about Manchester United...

i havent a clue if giggs deserves it but i def didnt want button to win, the car was superior so for me not deserved

but i dont watch or care for such programs.. like x factor, didnt know who anyone was.. didnt have radio on today cause its ended and was all over it
