Hi people

Some of you have already seen my posts in a few places, but I didn't see this forum before I opened my mouth elsewhere, so I thought I'd say hi. As the forum name suggests, I'm from the UK and have been a fan of Formula 1 for many moons, but I confess I know little of its history, so at the moment I'm on a crusade to educate myself of past drivers, famous and not so famous, and building up my own little array of stats as well.......yes, I'm a nerd, I admit it.

Outside of formula 1, I'm a PC geek to back up my being a stats nerd, and I'm also a soontobe father, with our first baby due on the 30th of January, though he is causing quite a bit of mischief already.

I live in the town that the current world champion is from, which is Frome in Somerset. He opened the new hospital down here, though alas I was away when that happened.
