Hey, it appears Torro Rosso are targeting Daniel Ricciardo next season.

Still all very faint rumours. But it appears Algy will be the reserve driver next year, with Ricciardo stepping up into a race seat.

But I think it's more than just rumours... I think Ricciardo will be there next year. We'll definitely see him in 2011.

Going to Toro Rosso might be a bad idea, because he'll probably get sacked by text message mid season.

For one he is already signed to compete in World Series by Renault. He should stick with that plan. Don't want another career ruined.

I'm most interested in what happens with Lotus & Sauber.

Sauber said they are to sign a newbie & a well known driver.

Well known driver could be Fisichella or Heidfeld, and the newbie could be Kobayashi. I think he will end up at Sauber.

Lotus though... if Lotus have signed Kobayashi... who is the newbie at Sauber? And Will Trulli go there?

Also, Kovalainen. Everyone seems to have forgotten about him. Could he be the Renault/Prodrive/(Lopez) 2nd driver?

Will Heidfeld go to Mercedes or will Schumacher take that position, where would that leave fisichella, at Sauber or out of a race drive?...

It now all hinges on Heidfeld.

I'd prefer Heidfeld to Mercedes, and fisi to Sauber - maybe strength in that seeing as Sauber are getting Ferrari engines.

Yeah, Fisi did say he is trying to get a seat at Sauber, thanks to previous seasons together & because of Ferrari providing engines & gearboxes.. so.. its possible, I woul dlike to see Heidfeld in mercedes, but i would also like to see schumacher there (even though hes one of my most disliked drivers ever)

I'd like quick Nick in a Mercedes too, he deserves a good car. He did well against Kubica this year. I've read rumours that Villeneuve has signed for Lotus?....it would be good to have another champion on the grid but not sure he'll get the job done.
