He's fine, he was treated and sent home, apparently he pulled out of the driveway of his Orlando home and managed to hit a fire hydrant and a tree...

And they emphasize: not alcohol related :P

It was not knowing what that big round thing in front of him was... so stupidity then :hehe::P

Does he by any chance have a son who drives for a prominent F1 team? If so I think I've heard this story.

So it sounds like he might have been attacked by his wife over this alleged affair.

Wow :yikes:

His injuries are consistent with a car crash not with being beaten up is the official word right now...
4 points and $164 fine for not being in control of the car.

I heard on the news this morning that the agency investigating this matter said that his injuries are more consistent with a domestic dispute not the crash. The BIGGEST question everyone has at the moment is where was he going at 2:30am?? Something is very fishy about this whole ordeal but yes it is being blown way out of proportion.

I just heard it this eve, but who knows - it seems to change on an hourly basis...

Admittedly, my source is a TMZ article I was linked to via Digg, so it might be nothing but sensationalist BS

What a news outlet said very early on was that he was bloody but no blood was found in the Escalade.

On the one hand you could ask what were you doing out at that hour, but on the other hand there could be many legitimate reasons. People do things in the middle of the night all the time. You could wake up and want a Red Bull or something or you are ill and ran out of Gravol, anything, really. What was he doing out at that hour? None of your friggin business!

Late today a ticker mentioned a reckless driving charge or some such thing, but it was worded like that's some horrendous thing. Big deal it's a traffic ticket. I've had a reckless driving ticket before. He'll have his lawyer take it to traffic court and the prosecutor will reduce the charge to improper lane use or something and he'll plead guilty to that. Who cares?
There's way too much media coverage of stuff like this. It's none of our business, and it's pretty much all stuff we really don't care about anyway. If we do, we need our priorities reviewed. When these everyday occurences happen to regular folk, and they do thousands of times a year in the USA, it doesn't make the news. If the person is famous, then all of a sudden we're aghast! The persn's fame shouldn't make it any different, but it does because the media says it does. What are we, lemmings?
