I do not like what this says. If i were a head of state I would act immiediatly to stop this. And believe me dispite what it says there are ways to stop this. Although I will refain from the obvious ways to do so on this forum......

I wonder how exact those facts are? I would of thought that to maintain a culture a couple would have to produce 2 kids. is the 0.11 the number of homosexuals and people who can not repoduce.

it is strange, but if you think about it, it is all the catholic church did, contraception is bad, have loads of kids who will also be catholic. all it means is the pendulum has swung and Muslims are producing more children than any other religion.

Just to go out on a light note, women get you knickers off give out more so more kids are born. Plus the CSA would love it

These "facts" are probably estimates taken from poor and in-accurate surveys.

Religion was all a lie, used to control people back in the day. Today it causes nothing but conflict and false hope. In certain parts of the world, religion remains a very potent thing. Here there is less and less of it, and it's a great thing.


This is why I don't watch the news or listen to documentaries. It's either depressing deaths, lies about gobal issues or some other useless junk, not to mention people trying to sound smart. As Rubens would say, "blah blah blah"

Being born of parents who have a certain faith does not guarantee the perpetuation of that religion. Increasingly, especially in modern times, younger generations strike out on their own.

What aload of rubbish

there are 50milion Muslims in Europe.

The Population of Europe is 730million so that means there is 680million non Muslims.

Were all Human anyway if they want to believe there's a god call Alllah that's fine with me long as they don't go preaching it to me or it dosn't affect my life in any way.

I'm a bit with behind the logic in the first part of the video. Why is a society with a fertility rate below 1.8, unsalvageable? Surely, provided the population is sufficiently large to begin with, all it would take would be an increase in birth rate.

What's more, why must the fertility rate be 2.11 in order for a "culture to sustain itself for more than 25 years"? I'm on the (British) governments statistics site right now and according to this our fertility rate has consistently been below 2.00 since 1973 (over 25 years), it's currently at it's highest for 35 years.

The bit about culture needing to hit the 2.11 fertility rate to maintain itself is spin. 2.11 is actually the figure a society needs in order to maintain the population. The spin here is that if the population of one demographic decreases, logically its culture must therefore begin to die out. That spin ignores:

1) Life expectancy
2) Cultural diversification
3) The fact that dominant culture is self-perpetuating.

With regards to number 3, it doesn't matter how many Muslims are currently in the UK, or Europe. That figure has no bearing on the future population of Muslims. Just because you are born into a Christian or a Muslim family does not mean you yourself will take on that religion and its culture. In fact, the evidence has shown that the majority of second generation immigrants to the UK associate more with British culture than that of their parents, and it is likely that this effect will be magnified for third generation immigrants.

Bottom line is, they're using demographic theory to predict the spread of ideology, and that does not work.

We should all follow France and Turkey's lead and become secular states then it wouldnt matter what nonsense people wanted to believe.
