I'd say an Alonso fan would probably dislike Hamilton more rather than McLaren themselves. I don't think it'd be a bad decision to go back to Renault. There's bad feeling at Mclaren, Ferrari will probably keep both their drivers for next season (or they should I think) so where else is there? Might as well go back.

Be a tough move back though, I think Renault really got their car right in 05 & 06 and I cant picture them being competitive with Ferrari & Mclaren in 08.

As Ruby said FA fans prolly dislike LH more (the media doesnt help im sure).

Just a thought. And would Alonso really be doing the right thing moving back to Renault?

YES or any where else  he has showed himself in a whole new light this year and made it pretty clear there is no loyalty to Mclaren

I don't think any reasonable person actually can HATE any driver or team. It is not like I lost my family to any of them in WWII, you know

That being said, I tend to like FA more than LH at present, but I hope for more details on FA's role in spygate and more details on what is he complaining about LH after the season... so I'm pretty sure I might change my opinion about them before next season starts.

I might even end up supporting McLaren as a team, but Kimi as driver. Weird, eh? But I do like Kimi for being... Kimi. Regarding that BE crap about LH promising to be better champ than Kimi or FA (as they don't fool around between season promoting F1 and making more money in perspective for poor Bernie), FA tried to answer with some diplomatic bs about him doing his best and how F1 got popular in Spain because of him and yarra-yarra-yarra, while Kimi simply answered: "I don't really care too much what people say about me". Way to go, Kimi. :D

Alonso is loyal to only one person: himself. They all claim to love him at Renault, but last season he said the team were not supporting him in his bid to win the title. It's always the same with Alonso. A decent driver, but he doesn't have the head to keep things in check.

Furthermore, Alonso came to McLaren knowing the score. If he was so worried about getting number one status in the team, he should have told the team that and got it written into his contract. The only reason he is gobbing is because he is embarrassed about getting beaten by a rookie.

Never mind whether Alonso fans hate McLaren or Ferrari, it should be what McLaren fans and people who like to see worthy champions think of Alonso.

I wonder, I wonder. I'm pretty sure at present that RD (and most of the team) does see LH as McLaren, while FA is just driving for McLaren... and not only after the spygate; try, like, from beginning of the season? Second, though situation was brewing for long time, it did surface after LH refused to follow team strategy an let FA go through in qualifying (was it Hungary?), resulting in FA's dumbass holding LH in pitt for 10 seconds and getting penalty. It was said that some hard words were exchanged between LH and RD at the time, though it was demanded latter (true or not).

Though it might be FA wanted to be MS in McLaren, I would not be surprised if it comes out LH played on simple fact that he is Briton for creating rift in the team and gathering team's support once they got polarised. And I'm definitely not only one fearing LH is spoiled, arrogant, scheming-capable kid; I was actually surprised to see some English language forums (like one on F1-live.com) showing dominant anti-LH feelings; I wonder how other non-English forums might look like (specially Spanish ones).

After all... he DID threaten he'll consider leaving F1 if penalized for Japan. WTF? How sky-high opinion on himself one must have to think such rubbish would make people worried? Heck, did even MS ever said something like that..?

Back to FA... I'm not sure Renault is best option for him. I think teams like Red Bull or Toyota have potential... money, first. Good techs (or cappability to buy some good people, anyway). When MS moved from Benetton to Ferrari, red cars were mediocre for years... decades! It did take MS a few years to sort them out, but once he did - oh boy; did he sort them out or what? FA is still young, he has 2 titles behind him... might even get his 3rd... yeah, from my point of view he could invest some time into underdog with potential and try to bring them to the top. Guess that is the only way to get god-like status within the team as well 8)

Just after qualitfying this what happen :D:D

Meanwhile, it is rumoured that Fernando Alonso was so cross with his qualifying performance that he threw his helmet on the ground in the hospitality suite after qualifying before ripping a door off it’s hinges.

That NOT NICE Alonso :lol::lol:

He has made it pretty clear that there is no loyalty to anone, period. Alonso is racing for Alonso but he forgets that he needs, 1) a car, 2) a team and 3) a teammate. He gives the impressions that he can do without commitment to any of the three. Get your trainers on Alf! you're goin to be running the courses next season - loser!!

True. If we were to listen to Alonso, he is wholly responsible for McLaren's turnaround in form. The management, designers, engineers, manufacturers, test drivers, mechanics et al. played no part.

Puh-lease... And when LH says he might leave F1 if penalized (thus potentially leaving McLaren without any driver for 2008), he's doing that for the team..? Yeah I know it is bluff but I still see no team spirit in such statement, just big ME.

And when LH is asking for some of his trophies as he would like to have them, contrary to the team's principle that all trophies are (and should be) presented in McLaren's factory, he's doing that for the team..?

And if the rumours are true that his manager will have special rights not seen in McLaren before (presumably to sign commercial contracts outside of McLaren's sponsors/approved brands), that is also done for the team..?

LH is pushing limits of driver's privileges in McLaren, and RD seems so happy to oblige. He is completely smitten by his protege, that he is publicly saying that THEY were racing Alonso, not Kimi. Eh? They as LH and him or they as McLaren? I was sure FA is still driving for McLaren. And they were not racing Kimi, though Kimi is still in championship race? How come?

Do you guys really think that, if McLaren fails to supply LH with wining car in next year or two, he will not bail out to another team? That he is there for McLaren and not for himself..?
