yup, I'm sticking with that one. i sincerely hope they do show up but it is my opinion that they won't. having said that, they could buy Toyota's design...

Anyway, Glock is confirmed at Manor and Button looks like a McLaren man for next year so another update;

1. Ferrari - Massa + Alonso
2. McLaren - Button + Hamilton
3. Renault - Kubica +
4. Mercedes Benz - Rosberg + Heidfeld
5. Red Bull - Webber + Vettel
6. Toyota - not competing
7. Williams - Barrichello + Hulkenberg
8. Lotus - Trulli + Klien
9. Sauber - Kovalainen +
10. Manor - Carrol + Glock
11. USGP - not competing
12. Campos - De la Rosa + Senna
13. Force India - Sutil + Liuzzi
14. Toro Rosso - Algesuari + Buemi

You change your mind more than I shower (actually bad metaphor, I don't wash), but how many different predictions have you made in this thread, and each tme one is proven wrong, you make a new one, so then you can say "I was right" :hehe:

It'd be better just 1 at the start and then speculating till it all comes out.
Speculating, not predicitng.

It'd be nice to see Kamui at lotus, we'd see fosho what trulli still has then, I mean, we know he can qualify, but it was hard to work out what his race-pace was like, Glock is a bit too smooth and calm, Kamui is alot more like trulli, and the Toyota didn't seem like it could handle agression until Kamui stepped into it.

Mmm, Koba deserves a seat, but I doubt Trulli will be here next year.

If I was a new team and with who the drivers are not signed for next year yet.

I think Trulli would be high on my wish list. He is not going to be that expensive and he will bring with him a lot of experience. Plus a known quantity.

And can qualify the car beyond where it should be so he gets airtime for the new team.

Strange, this year Red Bull were the only team to change drivers. Whilst for 2010 they are the only team not changing at least 1 driver. The field is going to look radically different next year.

Also, assuming Button goes to McLaren, (still think he shouldn't) who gets the number 1 on their McLaren. I'm assuming it's Button.

No question about who gets the Number 1 he is world champion it is his. It will be if i remember correctly Mercedes may loose their numbering because of the majority buyout but I'm not sure about this.

McLaren 1-2
Mercedes 3-4
Redbull 5-6
Ferrari 7-8
You get the picture.

I just find it funny and ironic that Button will be in the number 1 McLaren, but the fact of the matter is the real number 1 McLaren will belong to Lewis. Button just won't be number 1 at McLaren, and again that's why I think it's poor decision. Jenson doesn't adjust his driving well, as we seen in latter part of 2009, and I think he'll find similar problems with a McLaren car that's built around Hamilton, just as Hekki did.

However, in the 2010 Mercedes car, with the team that he's built around him still there. I think he'd stand a much better chance at fighting to defend his crown.

The thing is how much hard ball can he play with Brawn? but then again Jenson has spent his career moving away from a team just as it blossoms

Bollocks. He was turfed out of Williams because Montoya already had a contract and he was booted from Renault because Flabio was Alonso's manager and Trulli had an extra year on his contract.

I did not say he moved because he wanted to

Fair enough, it just seemed that that was your implication.
