If I used a wireless network to type in my bank account details (buy something), would them details be kept on the network?
Could they be traced back?

Seems random question, but does have a reasonable ish explanation behind it!

Depends on how your wireless network is setup. Always password protect it and have a firewall active and you should be relatively safe.

A wireless network wouldn't store anything; what are the parameters of the network; home network? office network? some office networks have snoopers who can filter and store information sent over the internet but that should be in your contract of employment; private home networks are safe, just make sure security is active; don't trust unprotected networks as you never know who could be sat on the network!

Its practically impossible if the site has the SSL encryption (the padlock) since the packets of data containing the bank details sent over the wifi to your router and then out though the net are encrypted
