I was thinking... is there a reason why Formula One Cars can't race on Circuit De La Sarthe? The Le Mans cars are wider than a Formula One car, and I'd think they go just as fast. I think it would be a perfect circuit with plenty of high speed sections, and overtaking maneuvers.

But as it looks obvious, there must be a reason why it's not considered. I would prefer Sarthe over any French Circuit.

I made this very suggestion in another thread a moment ago... I'd love to see F1 cars doing 240mph down the Mulsanne Straight.

*thread detour* I don't have a PSP, but I loved GT4 on the PS2; I want to be able to get a PS3 now to play the latest incarnation of the game... I've gained the the F1 car in GT4 and raced at Sarthe... scary stuff heading down the mulsanne straight without the chicanes on Sarthe 2... :P

I don't think I've done De la Sarthe 2 in a Formula One car.

Hey, on the PSP version they have the Ferrari 2007 Formula 1 Car! It's the most expensive car there, at 8 Million Credits!

This is still on topic as we're talking about test driving Fromula One Cars on a virtual Le Mans track.

Is the Bugatti Circuit wide enough? It shares the pit facilities and start/finish straight with Circuit De La Sarthe. There's no Mulsanne straight. Though.

Or, if Bernie wants his Paris Circuit, what about the St George Street Circuit, used in special stages on GT4?

OF course, there would be no overtaking, like all street circuits.
