"I'm pretty excited to be racing for Williams - they're real racers," Hulkenberg said. "I've been with the team as a test driver for two years now so I know everyone well.

"I've also been working in the factory itself this year with stints in composites, the wind tunnel and sub-assembly," he continued, speaking of his hands-on experience. "I like the people and the atmosphere within the factory is really good. I'm now in a race seat and I'm really looking forward to next year."

Could you imagine KR getting his hands dirty in the composites department? :P

Impressive stuff :D I like to see driver be hands on. Even whenever Vettel broke down, he helped the marshals push his car away. Just little things like that show drivers don't expect everything to done for them, just because they're famous.

I like the fact that he is getting some hands on as it means a better understanding of the car. I think Williams are grooming him quite well.

I'm really starting to like this guy. I didn't care for him much at first because I assumed he was just another cocky kid climbing up the ranks, but after reading his interviews he seems to be a decent guy.

I feel bad for him though, because that must get really annoying being called "the next Schumacher" all the time. I hate it when the media label's someone as "the next Senna (Schumacher, etc.)" and crap. Drivers want to make a name for themselves, not be like someone else.

I thought the only one who is labelled "the next Schumi" is SebVet?

He's been called the next Schumi in a lot of interviews. I guess the media thinks that any good German driver is the next Schumi.

Yeah I think that aswell.
Although he could be the next Heinz Harald Frentzen

Oh dear, I can see Hulkenberg fighting Vettel for a championship in the future...

Actually, if you throw Rosberg into the mix, the Germans will be quite strong in the coming years....

The future of Formula One looks very promising. :D
