I would really like to see stats on each driver for their total number of overtakes on the season. I mean actual overtakes, not advancing a position through pit strategy etc., I think it would really show just how good the drivers are. I am fairly certain Hamilton would have a hefty lead over the rest of the pack in this category, say what you will about him as a driver, but he does overtake a hell of a lot.

I think KERS cars would have a massive lead, so it wouldn't be a very fair contest. Although, It would still be interesting to see.

I agree about the Kers cars but even before Kers came on the go Hamilton wasnt shy on overtaking, that's what makes him so good to watch he's not happy sitting behind someone just following the procession infront IMO

Considering there has been so much effort put into overtaking for this past season it's clear that it hasnt worked either way

button's been pretty damn good at overtaking this year, although probably because of his poor qualifying means he's in a fast car behind slower cars, or just possibly its because he's behind cars without a ddd.

I think there is another thread concerning this topic but have fun.

Sure the Mods can sort it mate if they need to.

On Topic:

I think the soloution is to get rid of the double decker diffusers and have the underside of the cars more like the GP2 cars.

Its the DD Diffuser thats the problem.

I would like to see a graph for how many overtakes involving the top six and a further one for how many overtakes for the lead, not including passing in the pits.If memorey serves me correctly there was a spell of about two years where there wasn't a single one involving the leaders.

Yeah, especially if they've included passes off the startline, Raikkonen for one has definitely consistently made 3 - 5 places off the start for most of this season.

Hey, instead of Mr. Tilke, how about the guy who designs the Gran Turismo tracks? I could just imagine formula one cars going around Grand Valley, High Speed Ring, or one of the Special Stages. :)

Midfield Raceway would also be good for Formula One. In fact, it's probably one of the better circuits. :D
