But James Allen said it was better than any result ever scored by the Minardi team? I seem to remember when Minardi were a little competitive in the early 90's with there Ferrari powered car at the hands of Martini getting a few 4th places.

yeah....but didnt both STR's score points 8 pts i think...& a 4th place back then was worth lets see 3 pts so maths so good yes?

Torro Rosso had a good result today, with great drivers from Vettel and also Liuzzi. I never thought I would say that about Liuzzi! But, credit where it's due.

Webber didnt get a podium with Minardi, he came 5th on his debut at Melbourne 2002.

I remember when Martini got his Minardi 2nd on the grid at Phoenix in 1990 thanks to the Pirelli tyres working well in drying conditions during qualifying. Minardi from 1989 - 1992 were a top midfield team scoring points regularly.
