If everyone had the same KERS unit, say the mercedes unit (because its the best) I think KERS would be good for F1. Right now with 2 teams using it... its rubbish.

I had that same thought aswell while watching the race. KERS should be used on every car or none of them. The KERS situation relates aswell to the tire/tyre situation. Some people want only one tire supplier for so called 'fairness' but is it fair that not every team has that extra 80hp, which gives them a truelly visible advantage on the straights even though they are caughtup quite easily on other parts of the track?

My opinion is that it should be standard for all team's or removed all together. McLaren so far has the best and most reliable KERS system so why can they not supply all the team's as they do with their ECU????

you have a situation where a regulation is there for everyone to use and teams have chosen not to make use of it. Now i am sick of people whinging about KERS not being fair when in fact to the contrary it is.

You want to know what I think? <No!>:hehe:

I think that, as Formula One is an innovative sport, and KERS is innovation, KERS should be standardised. While KERS had a lack of reliability at the start of the season, it is an innovation and it is going forward. It will help us achieve a more clean sport.

I think the crinkles have already been ironed out, so let's put them on all cars. If it was on all cars, it would also improve our overtaking dilemma. :P

I don't want standardised KERS I want it with no limits on development or no KERS at all. There are not enough overtaking opportunities on many tracks for the standarised KERS concept to work no one would overtake anyone else all pressing their buttons at the same time.
