I love the TED talks. I have a terrible attention span so these are perfect little intros to random topics.

This one's fascinating and well worth 18 minutes of your time. It's about how bacteria 'talk' and how in discovering how they talk, there is now the possibility of a new generation of antibiotics which gets around the current problem of antibiotic resistant strains of bacteria.

Anyone got any other TED talks they want to recommend?

Good stuff. Cooperation happens to be one of my newest interests in bio.

Pretty interesting. Actually very similar to my line of work; been in chemistry/biochemistry/research field since 2000. We are working on some potentially ground-breaking experiments that could shed some major new light on bacteria and immune-response.

Good find, thanks for sharing!
