Now... If Bernie were to die, what would happen to Formula 1?

I know we say all this crap about Bernie being a c*nt etc. but he gets things done, he is the one that gives F1 stability really.

& im pretty sure that he actually owns the money involved with F1 as he is Formula One Management.

What would happen to F1 if he was gone? would we get gp's collapsing?

As far as I know, Bernie is president of FOM. How the whole CVC thing comes into it, I really don't know.

I don't think Bernie operates all on his own. There are others who we don't see or hear off who would take over or continue on.

BE has stated repeatedly that he can't see somebody else doing his job all by him/herself. So, my guess is that once he's gone, there will be 2 or 3 people taking over parts of his job, respectively.

Egomania at it's greatest which could also lead to the downfall of F1 so I'm mentally prepairing myself now.

meh.

One scum dies, another scum replaces him.

Very Christian.

Several people will end up doing Ecclestone's job. It would not surprise me to see CVC become more involved in things. Although Ecclestone has lost his way in recent years, there is nobody suitable to replace him. He knows the business like nobody else. Again, Ewan and I had a chat about this, and we both reckon things could potentially get worse after Ecclestone dies.

Chris - don't start.

Sorry, but you may or may not know that Big Azza is the forum's Christian moralist. However, I don't see how calling Ecclestone scum is i) Christian, ii) evidential, and iii) justifiable
