If I remember rightly... Cosworth were prone to blowing up.... They can't be any worse than BMW engines anyway.

Am I right in saying they are using the 2006 engines due to lack of time to develop a new engine?

The design is the same as the '06 engine but they are being retuned to fit in with the 18k rpm limit. I'd expect them to be more powerful and reliable really...

Cosworth's only blew up in the opening races of the 2006 campaign. When those problems were fixed the FW28's awful reliability started to show.

Having said that, it was quite a powerful engine.

I really don't think anyone should slag off the Cosworth engine yet it's a complete unknown it could be amazing it could be crap.
