So Cosworth will be powering Williams, Campos, Manor, Lotus and USF1 in 2010!
Good to see them back in the game, but If the engine isn't up to spec were gonna have another one-sided season!

Last time they were here in 2006 the engine wasn't too bad, but if i remember rightly it was quite unreliable. They will have had time to fix any power and reliability issues now though, so it's hard to say. I don't think it'll be the worst engine in the field though.

I say welcome back Cosworth to F1. I get the impression that too much is being expected of Cosworth and that they are being unjustly criticised before they have been given a fair chance. Their critic's should atleast have enough common sense to wait until they, Cosworth, have a full season under their belt don't ya think? Cosworth's first 1-2 season's will be a developement period anyway.

In summary we F1 fan's should be happy that there are still company's trying to get into F1 considering our global economic crisis.

I'm very glad that even with the great hiatus ahead, new teams and powerplants are coming forward. It shows that F1 is still the greatest race on earth!

Not really as after this winter's unfreeze; it will likely be frozen again so whatever they come up with will be what Cosworth powered teams will be stuck with!

Reducing RPM's to 18k should help Cosworth be more reliable on 2010.

The Cosworth engine had reliability problems in the early races of 2006, but when they fixed those problems, the Williams FW28 started to fall to bits because it was unreliable.

One-sided? There are multiple engines on the grid and at least 3 of them with a chance to win races.

The key word there is "likely" which is not a certainty yet if it does happen there are still area's of engine developement that the team's can work on. I'm just happy to see another manufacturer and one who has a storied history in F1 return to the ring.

i hate so few engines being in, but what can you do? you have to cut costs, and to do that limits put in place, maybe max engines of the same make to 4 teams? but then the highest bidder gets it, i dunno

id like the upper rev limit lifted with a cap on expenditure.. hmm

I have no idea how the Cosworth engine will be it could be the best or it could be the worst i think we will have to wait until testing to find out.

Just read something interesting - apparently if Lotus run Cosworth engines, they'll be rebadged as Protons.

Given the seasons with Cosworth participating in them, I don't see how the engine is going to be competitive enough with the likes of Mercedes and Ferrari, or even Renault...

I hope RedBull will chase after a Mercedes, if not, then just keep the Renault...

...or how about get the Ferrari engine back from Toro Rosso?!?!?!?!

Red Bull are keeping the Renault, which is probably less risky than trying the Cossie. But I would tend to agree that they ought to switch the STR and RBR deals.
