i bet this is why our US coverage sucks because Speed TV realizes this and thus we dont get all the cool stuff that BBC has.. we get to fall asleep during interuptive TV commercials. Tho the announcers do a good job, we just dont get pre race shows like DC, EJ and JH walking around and cool intros to the race that get you hyped/excited.

I go out every bloody saturday night so I usually sleep at 5/6 am.
So, when the races are 8am/9am(the usual time) I just can't watch. So I put the tv to record the race and watch at 1/2 pm.

you do ?? how you manage that ? I dont have that advantage coz if the guys know I wasnt watching the first thing they do is sms me with the results or to rub my nose in it for whatever reason...

That is all that is required but sometimes it is very hard. The few times I have read a thread and foundout who the winner was before I got to watch it was kinda a bummer but........ I watched the race anyway so I could add it to my video library and get the lap by lap insight and enjoyment of what went down.

I'll never be termed as an "average F1 viewer" because I love F1 too much.

That is all that is required but sometimes it is very hard.

Mega hard when you are at work, you get a break and it is on the TV in the canteen, half way through, you have nowhere else to eat and you have to work with oublic for the rest of the day, hoping they don't mention it.
