I think it's ridiculous that Kimi gets paid so much. (Actually, I think it's ridiculous that anyone could be paid that much, whatever they do).
But it's especially stupid when you take into account the huge discrepancies between drivers' pay - Kimi on 45m and Barichello on 1m!

It's crazy...

You're assuming that drivers are motivated more by money that by achievement...

Kinda... If it were not the case then their would not be huge salaries to begin with, and jens would take whatever he is getting and not holding out for a few more dollars with Brawn.

I love formula one and if someone said I could drive a Ferrari, McLaren, or RBR all season or take one of the for mentioned lowest paid drivers salary instead, I would probably take the money..

I don't think drivers would shoot for F1, the pinnicle of motorsports if it didn't pay..

The Top 4 drivers of this season together earn around Lewis Hamilton's salary.

Hmm. I see your point, because, forgive me, Kimi did not drive every race balls out for his 50m this year. Although his car was not competitive, it seemed he gave up.

:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Stealthgate just forgot to add ..."accepting anything less than a podium or generally driving like a beast" to the end of that sentence! :whip:

EDIT: Did you also see Scott Sharp's crash at Road Atlanta? :eek:
