I watched Superman II too. I'm actually not a big fan of Reeves' Clark Kent anyway, although admittedly his Superman is great. The whole reveal is just terrible, Clark stumbles and burns his hand on a fire

it kept 2 almost 6 year olds occupied for almost an hour and a half so it was not a great loss. is it time for them to go back to school yet!!!!

Superman's my favourite Superhero story but I'm not really a massive fan of the films either. They always have Clark Kent in his pre-crisis state (i.e. blundering idiot ), I prefer the mild mannered reporter from the animated series, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Smallville and the post crisis comics. I'm not a massive fan of Margot Kidder's Lois Lane either and Kate Bosworth is just hideous in the role. The franchise needs a reimagining as far as the movies go.

I would agree that the series were far better than the actual films, I recall watching the series when I was younger
