I went up to Beaulieu Motor Museum yesterday and for anyone who hasn't been, it's most definitely worth a look
They have a lot of old F1 cars there which are lovely (apologies for the cruddy pics...these were taken with my diddy camera. I do have some decent shots with my Canon but haven't taken them off the camera yet, including one of DC's McLarens.)
One of my favourite ever Ferraris:
And I couldn't leave out my favourite car manufacturer, Morgan:
It's an awesome place. I was astounded at how HUGE some of the land-speed-record cars of old were. There are also some little booths with interesting technical information such as the evolution of spark plugs (I know that really doesn't sound overly enthralling
). Naturally, there's also a lot of other non-F1 motoring memorabilia, all in absolutely immaculate condition. You can spend a good few hours gawking
There is also a monastery ruin in the grounds which is well-worth having a look at.
