So we actually do have one more race next weekend... i know i for one forgot about it to an extent after the race in Brazil!!

Anyone dare to make outright predictions for pole or the race win?

Will we actually get a good race at this new track?

Will the light to dark racing element actually have any impact, or is it just a pointless gimmick? (although i must admit i don't know if that is happening for definite yet...)

...and what's the betting someone crashes in the pit lane exit at some point? :P

As long as McLaren get as many points as Ferrari I will be happy :hehe:

Just put all races on at 1pm local time.

As for that pit lane exit, its a accident waiting to happen. If someone crashes there the race simply has to be stopped, stupid idea.

I predict Nico and Naka to not even bother putting any effort in and then they blame the team/car and then bugger off.

I've got a feeling this will be a dreaded KERS friendly track as well so it'll be the boring red and bling cars at the front... unless Kimi has anything to say about it as it's his last race for Ferrari and could possibly be his last F1 race.

I'd like Barrichello to win this one just to prove that he still has what it takes and to finish the season on a happier note after the disappointment of losing the title in Brazil.

But it'll be a boring race...:(

Here's a lap of the circuit with Bruno Senna in a 2 seater, what a bloody weird pit exit

Pit exit really is weird ;D Wonder if an accident happens there.

Long straight, that's a VERY decent spot for KERS powered cars ;D. Another street circuit makes the situation better for Massa though

I need to stop watching the laps done in that car. Makes me think of better times. Why, oh why, did they change to the nasty-sounding V8s when the V10-era sounded so much nicer?

It doesn't look like there will be too many opportunities for overtaking and the circuit reminds me a little of Valencia, but with nobody having driven it yet it could lead to an interesting grid. The day/night effect is actually quite nice to see. Those who watched the Friday practice sessions at Singapore will know this. As for the pit exit, it's a little odd, but I've actually seen some stranger ones. It kind of reminds me of one of the corners at Macau, where there's a twisty right-hand turn that is really tight and the walls are high and close together. I'm sure the drivers will be fine, though that may not be the case if it was to rain... :P

Here are some night-time laps. The sound of a lone car in the empty circuit is spectacular!

I'm actually more excited about this race than any other this season. I hope that JB really goes hell for leather in this race as there is nothing to lose for either himself or Brawn as both drivers and constructors championships are sown up. This race is a complete unknown as no current F1 driver has turned a wheel in anger at the Yas Marina circuit yet!

So I'll go with the following:

1. Sebastian Vettel - 2. Lewis Hamilton - 3. Kimi Raikkonen - 4. Jenson Button - 5. Rubens Barrichello - 6. Fernando Alonso - 7. Nico Rosberg - 8. Timo Glock
