I hoped he wouldn't be elected because i think it could lead to people claiming that he isn't impartial and that he supports Ferrari I'm not saying he will do that but people can claim it and that is bad for F1.

So the Mosley era continues. I should have been more surprised if there were a Volcanic eruption in Ireland this evening.

Mosley and the FIA did everything they could to get Todt elected, undermining Vatanen at every turn. Then let's not mention the vote buying and electoral biases. Todt's election was comparable to Karzai's "victory" in Afghanistan a couple of months ago.

Corruption, dictatorship and vendetta's continue then. Oh joy! Long live Mosley

The McLaren fans here imo really need to growup ie learn to put the past behind them. The bunch of you have already convicted JT before he officially takes office which is typical and not surprising at all. How about giving the man a chance before condemning him??

Now before you all get on your 'bandwagon' just remember I wanted Ari and not JT simply because Ari would offer a new and fresher perspective. Yet I cannot jump on your, ie the McLaren bandwagon, without PROOF UNDER HIS ADMINISTRATION that JT will be biased towards Ferrari and neither can you!!!

Simply my opinion and nothing more :wavey: .

Simply a fact and nothing more, but Todt got elected with a lot of help from corrupt means. Surely if Todt was such an honest broker, he would have declined this illicit assistance?

Now the anti Mclaren fans here in my opinion really should grow up.Just because Folk dont like dictatorship and corruption doesnt mean they have anything against ferrari or expect Todt in any way to favour them. How on earth can you arrive at such a sumisation? Todt...biased...Where did that come from? You should not suggest such things without proof. Im sure he's a very nice man.

Simply my opinion and nothing more :wavey:

what you have to think is that every leader/president of any organisations has to make decision and every decision will be loved and equally hated by some people. the only problem is that with Todt and decision he makes that might be construed as supporting Ferrari. The McLaren boys are gonna get upset.

I think I will judge him by the information we get and see how he reacts.

I was under the impression that that is what I said yet once again my comment was taken out of context to appease the McLaren lambs  .

Out of context? Hardly. Your post stated clearly that McLaren supports have it in for Todt and are unfairly judging him.

Can we please stop with this psychoanalysis, there's an awful lot of it going on lately.

I don't think it's necessary to assume a persons opinion is based on which team or driver they support, at least not without evidence to support such a claim and even then the evidence should apply to an individual not an entire group. Whether someone supports McLaren or Ferrari is not a good reason to disregard that persons opinion, or to claim that it's the result of bias.
