Maybe it will convert more nascar fans to consider watching F1, but come on, a nascar and a open wheel f1 car are totally different. We all remember how horrible micheal andretti did going from Indy car to F1, saying how different they felt, the difference between a nascar to current F1 car is a totally different world.

Once this kid fails in F1, he will have the chance to go back into Nascar. I dont think nascar drivers are interested in F1 because they know how competitive F1 is and you can get fired if your not competitive, where as Nascar is more relaxed.

Yeah, good point! It would be a good test.

Personally, i think they'd stand a decent chance as long as they are very adaptable. NASCAR does require good car control and the emphasis on setup should stand their drivers in good stead in that respect.

Kyle Busch is probably the best driver in NASCAR at the moment, not only does he dominate ovals but he is darn good at circuits also. He has natural talent and I personally think he will do great in an F1 car because of it.

I think Michael Andretti could've been a decent F1 driver if it wasnt for his arrogance, and prima donna attitude.

Anyways, I personally would like to see Kyle Busch in F1. I think it would be the first cross over from nascar.

The fact is he's a superstar in the US and if he came over he'd be a nobody in a team like USF1 unless he was really really good.

at least for F1s global audiance it might make F1 pick up in the US though.

99% of NASCAR drivers cameup through the rank's of Karts and 800+hp 1500lb's Sprint Cars, I think they know how to drive thank you very much!

Yes, but remember how a certain Juan Montoya went in F1.

I'd like to see it very much. He'd need to up his fitness for one though, but it would be a great challenge for undoubtedly talented guy.
