Well just a week after the mayhem of Fuji, we're back to F1.
Lewis has a 12 point lead over Alonso, and 17 over Kimi.
If Lewis manages not to lose more than 2 points this weekend he will walk away with the Championship in his first year, setting a world record.
Alonso and Raikkonen aren't going to go easy on him, but with the battle as tight and unpredictable as its been, its anyones game.

So whats everyones prediction for quali and the race. Plus reactions afterwards

Practice 1, Kimi faster

Practice 2 Kimi still fastest

Just out of interest: what's the most points a driver has ever scored in a single season?

I think Raikkonen will win. He looks to have that extra tenth or so.

As far as I can make out, the most driver points ever achieved in a single season is 123 by Schumacher in 2001.

Woah, what a lap by Lewis, pole just ripped away from Kimi.
Massa might of even beaten Kimi had he not spun a bit somewhere.

Both STR's punching way above there weight, and so did Button.

Renault are confused, dry settings in wet quali last week, and wet settings in dry quali today.

And it looks even worse today, I seriously hope the Red Bulls break down tomorrow (which whilst they have a great record of doing so they never seem to do it when you want them most to) or BMW get their finger out and finish ahead of them. Only hope now is some rain.

I'm thinking Kimi will try to take Hamilton immediately on set off, maybe Massa and Alonso will have a go as well - this is going to be interesting - hope nothing serious happens on the first bends, although I am a bit sick - I like the minor collisions I think it makes it more exciting

Hmm, Vettel really isn't have a good time is he? Having just had one penalty annulled, he goes and picks up another one...

Pleased for DC though - nice to see him qualify well
