i actually rhink most guys prefer less on a girl but then i also think girls put more on cause of other girls and of course the media, a little is fine, esp if it boosts confidence, but less is more .. for me anyway :)

Yeah, same for those who starve themselves in order to be extremely skinny - it's just not necessary, and it is annoying that people feel almost... pressured into doing such things by the mainstream.

Yeah but that could be a psychological disorder remember - but as a result of mainstream/media pressure.

Two of them above have wierd faces

It's not just me that noticed that then. I'm glad people have singled out the most natural looking lady for admiration, I can't stand this whole fake culture we have going on at the moment (fake hair, fake boobs, fake nails...etc).

Me neither, but I am very tomboy-ish, I dont care what people think of me to be honest, I used to but now well I havent got much going for me.

:nono:

Sooooooo not true Han, we've all seen you on the 'Who are you?' thread.

I used to care far too much what people thought of me too, then one day, for some unknown reason, I suddenly couldn't give a damn. I've never been the type to aspire to the Katie Price brand of fashion though

meh girls who fake themselves just hide the real butety from nature that is of course much better than humans can actually come up with.
Looks should be invidvual, not conforming to some mass media image - it just says stuff about the person who does conform

Its not always comforting to some mass media image though, i.e. some girls may plaster themselves in make up if their trying to hide something or it may make them feel beautiful but they dont realise that they have gone overboard

Yeah very true i suppose some girls feel they must do that, but a more natural look is better - but like you say its the media causing this.

True indeed because I was like that, media doesnt help because it effects me too. Okay I wouldnt get fake boobs, nails, hair extentions and have never been on a sunbed but other things that I see I wanna be, and I used to wear a lot of make up to make me feel better, now I hardly wear anything because I just dont care.

Unfortunately, very few women are comfortable with their weight, we all want to be slimmer.

If girls wanna starve themselves though thats up to them, I'll starve myself somedays then eat other days, then hardly eat... then eat again but that isnt because of pressure, i just like doing it, love it when i drop off the pounds id be a twig if i could

Whether girls are comfortable isn't really something I've thought about - the seemingly accepted 'perfect figure' is far too skinny though. So yeah I'd agree, it's definitely not necessary.

There's a difference between eating less to loose weight tho and become slimmer and more healthy and going too far with it to the extent where it becomes very unhealthy and even dangerous.

Being really skinny is the perfect figure though, well in my eyes

There's skinny and then there's emaciated. It seems that many, particularly famous, women are leaning towards the latter of those two options, Keira Knightley for example. She's a beautiful lady but I haven't posted her in here because she's ridiculously thin.

Ditto!!

Like now :/ Even bloat I hate!

I feel 'attractive' if I feel thin, but I am not one to diet really, starving myself is much easier

Then that's what you should be

My opinion's different, but there are plenty of girls who seem to agree with you though

I don't see what's wrong with women with a few curves, it's just as good as having a slim lady. :)

Its not necessary the best or healthiest option though, since when you starve yourself your body will slow down and use less calories so you won't actually loose that much weight compared with doing exercise or just easting healthier less fatty foods.
