Being able to participate in the democratic legislative process - especially Parliament (such fun!)
Seeing your ideas in the press and on the telly (great fun! - except when they're being criticised and/or laughed at )

Worst bits of my job:
The buck stops with me
Can be intensely stressful
I never switch off - even on holiday or at the weekends, I'm always checking up on things and making sure everything is running smoothly.

Best bits of my job:
I get to work with whatever technology or products interest me so every day is different and means my work is usually exciting and interesting
I can work from home a lot of the time and also partially choose my own hours which means I don't need to shop at the weekends
I'm always busy so I don't have to push paper or 'look like I'm busy'.

Although the stress does get to me sometimes, overall, I'm really lucky in that I love what I do

I work weekend and holidays in a computer repair centre.

Best bits:
- Everybody there is awesome
- Doing something I fairly enjoy
- Did I mention how awesome everyone is there (i mean, how many jobs can you give your boss abuse, and not get fired)

Worst bits:
- crappy pay
- admin work, which is complicated, and often leads to me messing up
- minimal hours on weekends
