Who builds a platform which is uneven?

have you seen the state of Donnington recently?

You have to think that most of the UK's rail systems are over 100 years old and with people not willing to spend money on improving the public transport systems anymore. I would imagine that very little has been done to the platform in the last 20 year. since Maggie had her way

I suppose that's true, mind you it isn't hard to work out possible hazards. I suppose this is all in retrospect.

Nor do I but I can imagine. It's bad enough when my nephew bumps his head, if I was responsible for something like this happening to him (or any child) then I'd never be able to forgive myself.

Yeah I suppose that's true. It leaves people with two choices. Either don't have children or if you do then be extra careful.

I'm not doubting that mother though, im sure she is safe enough with her child.

Just one of these terrible accidents. Miraculously the child survived. That'll be some story to explain to it when it grows up.

There is no higher power invovled why the chair rolled foward can be explained though physics.

I don't see how anyone can blame the Mother to be fair it wasn't like she pushed the pram at the train.

Do you notice that there is a distinctive lack of space on trains for mothers with pushchairs?

going back to people having kied and being extra careful or not having kids at all. it is a fine line, if you wrap kids in cotton wool they will never learn. eg how do you know not to touch a light bulb that is switched on? because no doubt you have done it, it hurt and you have told yourself not to do it again. same goes for kids.
