youre not understanding how Max is accountable here are you? Like I said thats the Gen Y mentality showing through! See Max chose this and doing so put himself in a vulnerable position. X Files had a good slogan, trust no one!

answer me this if Max didnt sleep around would the news of the world be able to post a story about him in a sleazy manner?

Well no but apart from him cheating on his wife, what exactly has he done that is so bad? He was stupid to do that for sure but that is the only thing that i can see he has done wrong in the whole affair. If News International had wanted to expose Mosley as unfaithful, they would have simply run with a story about that, instead they ran increasingly lurid and sensationalist headlines until it got noticed and some damage was done. This clearly demonstrates their intentions.

You are also a member of generation Y are you not? I don't see what relevance it has anyway. It's a term describing a section of the global demographic, it is not an ideology or anything...

I understand what you're saying from the news papers point of view, what I'm saying is Max is not innocent here! Sure he wasn't breaking the law but heleft himself wide open for this to happen! Now if he couldn't keep it in his pants then for the sake of the FIA and F1 he could quit and root around as much as he likes and no news papers would care to run such a story! Quite simple to understand really!

Gen y thing well I dunno I think I miss out by 5 months :P still I am around them and know how they think and there's no responsibility or accountability for ones actions for them, a mindset which is apparent in anyone thinking Max is a victim here!

As in most arguments where someone claims indignation, this is directly related to what the poster felt about Mosely prior to this relatively ridiculous scandal. I would bet my race car that if dear sweet Lewis were the target of such a scandal, a few posters in here would change their views on the quick. Then it would all be about how it's his personal life and that doesnt matter blah blah blah. Same exact thing happened with Clinton. Those that hated him (republicans) were all up in arms about dignity and honor and moral values..blah blah...until one of their own was caught in a mens room stall soliciting for some gay umpalumpa....while those who liked Clinton were on about privacy etc...until they could jump on the republican mens room humper. People use whatever they can to further the opinion they have already developed. I do it. You do it. We all do it. I'm certainly not surprised that the McLaren consortium hate Mad Max....he did bitch slap them around for a while.

Way before Larry Craig (that you alluded to) there was Newt Gingrich: 'Gingrich then married Callista Bisek, with whom he was conducting an extra-marital affair during the Congressional investigation into allegations that Bill Clinton lied under oath about his affair with Monica Lewinsky'

"dear sweet Lewis":rofl: The guy really gets to you doesnt he. Whilst lewis represents his sport he is not in a position of power making decisions and judgements about others as Max does. Therefore you make a silly comparison.

I was the one who first reported the news of the world story on the forum and they didnt keep getting more and more lurid before being noticed. It was on the front page immediately and in the Sunday Times the next day. Max shouldnt bang on to others and punish and threaten them about bringing the sport into disrepute and then go and disgrace the sport himself. Disrepute is a subjective word, if he doesnt want the sport in disrepute then its all disrepute, not just the ones that suit him.

f*** sake mate do you always have to turn this onto me? whats your problem?

this has nothing to do with A. McLaren B. Lewis Hamilton so why do you need to bring them up?

I have put my opinion forward about what happened all you can do is attack me for being a McLaren fan... good rebuttal :bs: what ever over this forum!

Well as I see it bud, and probably alot of other's aswell, you have nobody to blame but yourself. Your typical response to ANYTHING that is negative to or can be implied toward's McLaren or your opinion is angrily offended by you. Maybe you should take stock within yourself instead of the path you take 99% of the time!

This thread is simply rediculous in all aspect's so it is now locked.

PS,
Save yourself some time and do not PM me with your angst ok.
