The circuit has absolutely no character or charm whatsoever. And, as there is already a night race on the calendar, there is nothing unique about it either. Then, the actual layout of the track does not look terribly exciting either. Another gimmick.

Really? fast straights/sweeping corners into tight chicanes/hairpins... should be the perfect setup for overtaking. The problem isn't the tracks, the problem is current F1 cars disrupt the air coming off the rear wing/diffuser so much that no-one can follow close enough behind, let's go back to mid 90s aero and Abu Dhabi should be an excellent track!

NO!

Like I stated earlier, I'm not looking forward to it more than I look forward to any other GP. And I do not like the fact that legendary circuits are being taken off the calender for these silly procession races!

I've just seen the onboard lap and it looks like a more nadgery version of Valencia. It looks quite sh*te in fact. I'll be missing the live race as i'll be up north in some woods...

well .. it looks like he took the car for a spin and couldnt make up him mind whether to stop and have a smoke or something.
it looks great though. will really suit cars that reach topend quickest...considering that long straight ( not the team he mentioned )

He was doing alright speed on his fast lap.

there is a double apex right hander (not sure on the number) before a hard brake into another right hander that looks like alot of fun.
