They should have both of them and stop introducing these crap new street circuits!!!!

(PS, with comment have I finally won your support? :hehe: )

Brown nosing :P

Be careful. Harry Connick Junior might be on this thread somewhere.

Mind you, I'm not familiar with the term of "brown-nosing." What does it mean?

In layman's terms.. to have a very intimate knowledge ones immediate superior due to the close proximity of both the anal gland of the "boss" and ones nose.

Yes, though I consider the the kissing to be of a degree where both the kisser and the kissed feel it to be of such an intimate nature that both party's will find it hard to sleep for at least one year.

The kisser in this case being so far up the aforementioned "Kissed" that the taste becomes somewhat unpleasant.

Or to be a little more plain "lumpy"

Silverstone are holding out for a 4 year deal (which i think is the right thing to do) so this is why Donnington keeps getting extended deadlines. It seems to that Bernie might have painted himself into a bit of a corner, which would be a first, he is getting on though...

Ecclestone to sue over Donington?
12/10/2009
Although what we hear is unsubstantiated, we understand that Bernie Ecclestone has given up all hope of Donington hosting the 2010 British Grand Prix and that he is on the verge of launching legal proceedings against Simon Gillett's Donington Park Ventures.

Reliable sources inform us that Ecclestone has already been in touch with circuit owner Tom Wheatcroft to tell him that "it's all over", while construction company McAlpine is understood to have moved off the site on Friday.

Having announced the deal with Donington on the opening Friday of the 2008 British GP weekend at Silverstone, earlier this year Ecclestone agreed to a 10-year extension to the original 7-year deal.

While Ecclestone is understood to have been hoping for a 1-year deal at Silverstone for 2010, a deal which BRDC president Damon Hill is understood to be rejecting, if the talk of legal action is true Ecclestone may have finally realised that Donington needs to be written off once and for all.

Personally I believe that Bernie always knew that this, or something like this, would always happen. There is a huge amount of money from various governments which is "supporting" the grand prix in those countries. In my view of the situation, effectively a lot of money is flowing from those governments to Bernie's organisation. And I suspect that part of Bernie's motivation is to create a "problem", that he hopes the government will "step in" to solve, and that part of this solution will mean that more money flows to Bernie's organisation.

The cynics would tell you that it's just his way of going about dropping the British GP altogether!

I think he would only go to such lengths to engineer that if he thought there was a genuine chance of British government stepping in to save it, and i don't see that there is.
