Arden fielding a team in the GP3 series
Mark Webber is getting involved in team ownership, teaming up with his Red Bull Racing boss Christian Horner for the Arden International entry in the new GP3 series.

The series confirmed that 'MW Arden', one of ten three-car teams for next season, will race with an Australian licence.

"It's something Mark has talked about for a while - putting something back into the sport and supporting young Australian drivers," Horner said at Suzuka on Friday morning.

this is great news for Young Aussies needing a break in open wheelers in Europe!

There are many talented racers in Australia but unless you have the money to race in Europe, youre destined to race at best in the local V8 Supercar series which is touring cars.... open wheelers youre dreaming.

Through alot of work, and in some ways luck. While in Australian Formula Ford he basically teamed up with the then series-coordinator, Ann Neal, who was able to get him adequate sponsorship to test over in the UK. (The same Ann Neal who is now his partner)

But even so, money was tight and that, alot of Webber's success was helped by Paul Stoddart and his funding of the F3000 team.
