Is the WDC going to go to the last race yet again?

What dark forces are holding Jenson back when he started off the year so well?

I can understand being off the pace for a race or two, but this is so blatent to cynical old me.

Who's gonna fine the fixers?

For one or at the very outside two races.

But come on...

I'm a McLaren fan at heart but I'm just seeing the overall picture.

I'd be pleased for whoever wins but it does seem year after year to go to the wire - why is that?

On the grounds no car or driver is loads better than anyone else.Only when a constructer that focuses on one driver like Schu at Ferrari does this happen, the rest of the time its fairly ballanced :)

How about if you discuss some of the previous years, and for a significant number of them, describe the case for races being fixed.

I don't believe that the races are actually being fixed. The FIA does seem to make some decisions, when they're given the opportunity, which prolong the championship battle. But it's a whole new step above that to actually fix races.

If these claims were true, then I could see how they will work. For example, it could be obvious early on who is going to win. They could be told "OK, pull back a bit now, let others catch up, but we'll guarantee that you get the championship in the end". The problem is, that too many people would then be involved in letting the "right" person win in the end. Somebody, eventually, would expose this strategy. Or, another driver wouldn't cooperate, and grab the championship for themselves should the opportunity present itself.

What decisions are these? Ones that, by chance, affect race results? They must be if they affect (prolong) the championship battle.
