Yeh James Hunt is his Hero i reckon or he has alot of respect for him.

Since he entered a snow mobile race before the 07 season under the name "James Hunt" to keep his identity hidden.

But the fact is he is the POLAR opposite of James Hunt.

Not quite I'd say. KR is almost as wild as JH - his demeanor though is quite different, yes.

TBH I think he's the only driver who really intimidates Lewis on track.

I would imagine that he is probably the most worrying driver in the field to be paired with because you just don't know what you're going to get, except no help from him whatsoever. He could be average but he could just blow you away, it's so hard to call with Kimi. If I were Lewis, I would be more worried about Kimi than anyone else because i don't think anyone else has Kimi's raw speed, it'll all come down to whether or not he can apply it.

I think he is quite a bit like James Hunt in a few ways, he's quite a non-conformist, isn't massively committed to F1 and his apparent lack of motivation when he is unable to challenge for a win is a mirror of Hunt's. I've always thought he was a bit like Jochen Rindt in his driving...

I feel a bit differently, it could be good for both of them.
there's a couple of things that made me say about the intimidation. the incident in spa where kimi wasn't going to settle for 2nd place and seemed to have the attitude of 'if you're gonna try to pass then i'll make you take us both out' and the other I can't remember which race but kimi and lewis were next to each other on the grid and kimi was looking over at lewis in a way i've never seen any driver do on the grid before and lewis ducked up on the first corner.
another thing was the move lewis made on alonso on the main straight in indy, I can't see him trying that with kimi.
maybe i'm reading too much into these things but whatever, I think lewis has much more respect for kimi than alonso.

I'll bet people who know him well wouldn't say that but he's probably quite difficult to get to know, hmmm I suppose it depends on how you define fiendly.
