What race?, it was a bloody procession, very little opportunity for overtaking, the only highlight for me was Heikki doing fischi's legs coming out of the pits. They need to introduce better circuits, having now watched Japan, Barcelona and the usual procession at Monaco I'd ditch all 3 for some better circuits that have the potential for overtaking. BORING race, pleased for S.V though.

Fine Barca and |Monaco is porcessional, but Suzuka - get a grip.
Yeah it could definately have been better but it was good.

Again I think it's down to the cars and the OWT having not done a good enough job, overtaking is definately possible at Suzuka though. I think also the low number of cars on track these days does not help either.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Not the most exciting race, but I'm happy with the result - both for Vettel and Trulli.
Button lucked into those points - at this rate he's going to luck into the championship (which is only thanks to a fantastic first half of the season).

ONLY due to a fantastic first half of the season ... is that not a bit of a contradiction and an understatement? He only managed to win 6 of the first 7 races, that couldn't all be due to luck. I am cheering Jenson on to the WDC crown, I'm not a Jenson fan or a Brawn fan, I'll support any UK driver or team (or any team that beats Ferrari  ) if he wins the driver's championship it will be thoroughly deserved. I hope he wraps it up at the next GP though as I'm not sure I can handle the stress of another last race championship decider.

Kind of disappointed that Button is still managing to scrap along, to be honest. The guy is due some bad luck soon >.<

His DNF in Belgium was his bad luck ... his first and only (I hope).

He's had too much good luck (mostly through Rubens' bad luck), though. It's weird.

So you guys are worried about next year because it's going to be Ferrari vs McLaren? Well recent years have been fantastic but this year is just awful. Button is going to win the title by cruising the second half of the season.

Agreed that Vettel had an excellent race, I do think that he poses more of a threat to Button than Rubens.

Definitely. One of the major factors that will tip the balance between Vettel and Button is the difference in the cars. That doesn't exist for Barrichello. For Barrichello to score 7.5 points a race on Button in the same car is extremely unlikely IMHO.

I'd still think it's 70-80% certain that Jenson will win the championship. But that's a still sizeable probability that Vettel could win.

I think it's been a great season because for a change the same two teams haven't dominated.

And the winner is someone who cruises along the second half, scoring minimal points?

Anyways, Vettel won't win the title for sure. It's like 95%. Comeon, win 2 races while button scores nothing?

I think it's a tad early to say that next year will be Ferrari vs. McLaren.

My point is that some people think so, and are scared about it, becuse it'll be "boring" for them.

My problem with this season is that one team did dominate at the beginning and that's what's determined the entire championship.

My problem with this season is that most of the races have been processional. :(

True, but it was a new team and they humbled the mighty Ferrari and McLaren which sort of makes it special. I wouldn't want Brawn to dominate next year ... I'm rather hoping for a Williams resurgence ... well any team apart from Ferrari
