You can't blame Massa at all for complaining, it was harsh enough from him the title was taken away from him when Captain-Invincible got flukey at the last corner at Interlagos, this however takes it to a whole brand new level.

Surely if the result was changed then Massa wouldn't have scored anyways, and Lewis would have then scored more points?

Stupid to bring this up as it were.

It just shows that Massa is cry baby, and he maybe also realised that it was his last chance to win the driver's championship. After this he'll be supporting Alonso. But yes it was stupid anyway.

come on now ... Massa no crybaby. one can understand how frustrated he must feel right now coz if there was not so much haste at the time of piquet's safetycar the fuel hose issue may not have happened - but it did and surely he accepts it.

For me it sounds like a cry baby, of course it's hard to loose, but he doesn't seem to accept that it was in the past and race fixing wasn't done by Hamilton or his team, so why should Hamilton loose any points. The rest of the season was driven under the points each team had, if you start changing that now, that would have influenced the strategies teams and drivers would have. You would need to re-run 3rd of last season again.

I'm faraway of being a Lewis fan, but in this case his right. Massa should STFU, and come back and race and show if he can win.

 championships are not won in one corner! I sometimes I cant believe the lack of intelligence shown by some so called F1 race fans around here!

Come on Fella, i know you don't like Hamilton but theres no need to be blinded by that dislike.

Massa lost the title though his mistakes and mistakes of his team.

Mistakes that could of happened safety car or not.

Fact is if Hamilton lost I'd be stood here saying he lost it though penalties and mistakes, but i'd accept Massa as the winner.

There was nothing "fluky" about Interlagos Timo was on Slicks on a wet track Ham was in Inters end of.

Massa seems to forget that the pit lane incident which cost him the championship was the making of the Ferrari team; Renault did not make him set off with the fuel hose attached! Yes, the stop was made under increased pressure because of the Piquet invoked safety car, but that was the same for all the other teams (including McLaren) and they didn't make the same mistake. Who is to say that Ferrari wouldn't have had the same issue in their scheduled stop - there have been so many issues with their "traffic lights" system. If Massa's stop had gone smoothly he would not have won the race but would probably have scored enough points to win the championship, despite the safety car.

Bunch of idiots both Massa and Ferrari regarding this. Renault cheated in Singapore 2008 and it effected Massa and Ferrari. Would should be rightfully done is that everyone be allowed to keep their positions and wins etc since it would be impossible to work out who would of finished where had Renault not cheated. What should be done is that all points scored be removed from those who scored points in that race. This would then make Massa the world champion of 2008. Clearly he is the rightful world champion. Had Renault not cheated, Massa would of won the championship. But regardless, because of cheating that happened in Singapore of 2008, no one should be allowed to score points in that race.
