Talking of BMW mishaps does anybody remember last year when Nick was doing a demo in the 2008 car at the Munich factory and he wrecked the front wing by clipping a kerb?

At least their race engines are okay. Is there any more information on the engines which were damaged? Surely they had plans to use them some time.

They're going to be used in the practice sessions and then possibly re-used in races if the new engines fail.

I see. I guess they'll get them properly analysed after this weekend.

They can't do anything that would give BMW an advantage, like allowing them to use replacement engines. Otherwise all the teams would start dropping their engines so that they could use new ones.
