Once I'm up, I'm up. No going back to bed for me. The alarm will be set for 4:30, I'll be in chat by 4:50 with my coffee and then I won't move, except for coffee refills, until the BBC forum finishes.

Refills?

Get two of those (cheaper) and you're set. I have one for work and it's great. My colleague makes the morning tea at 8am and it's still warm at 11am! No need to get up during the race! Of course, all that coffee would probably mean trips to the loo anyways... >.<

Well, once one is empty......

Eww >.<

That's good for, what, half an hour? Including pre-race build-up and post-race talks, you're looking at three hours. You gotta be prepared. And besides, you could write "McLaren" on your Thermos :P

You're not alone. :P I don't use my travel mug for grands prix, I use this:

I did use it at work for a while, but carrying an open-topped mug of hot tea from main reception all the way to my office was too dangerous with all the kids running around, and it usually went cold before I got to touch it.

I'll be there :)

You guys in Europe have it easy. The race will be at 1am here. haha.

that's perfect! just stay up for it. Races in the early morning are the worst for me, 5am is too late to stay up for, too early to get up for... :banghead:

5a.m is too late to stay up for, that way you get no sleep. Get up at 5 and then you have the whole day ahead of you after the race.
The worst is about 2 or 3 am,if I stay up for that i doze off in the race(very annoying). If I get up, when its finished its hardly worth going back to bed.
