Alonso will go to Renault unless they can't come up with a decent ride.

Allways assuming Ron will let him go, he may well decide not to accept a buyout of alonso's contract and just fill the second mclaren seat with someone else, pay his wages and let alonso sweat for a year. He didnt let montoya off the hook and let him start in nascar until his mclaren contract was up. He could well do the same again.

I don't think Ron would want a bitter driver doing testing for the team for a year. If he decides Alonso stays on contract, the only sensible option is gardening leave... a forced sabbatical.

Would love to see button at mclaren but i cant see it happening. can see ralph at pro-drive.

cant see alonso going ferrari think its either mclaren a year out with mclaren paying his wages, or renault. which would be great for them.
