love gran turismo - hell I'm still in love with the old one for their pure combination of authenicity and gaming nounce. Guess I'll have to make friends with ps3 owners at school now.

I also LUV the Gran Turismo games. It has been almost two years since I have played GT4 and if memory serves me I'm about 85-90% complete, sold my game but kept the memory card . Now that I have a 36" HD flat screen tv I need to get another PS2 and finish GT4. A PS3 is still not in the card's at the moment but hopefully I will have one in the not to distant future.

I've been eagerly anticipating the game, of course. I wouldn't say "not long", however, since I still haven't seen any meaningful release dates. All I've really seen is either "TBA" or generalized speculation along the lines of "TBA 2009" or "Q4 2009". Being nearly the end of September with no definite date slated, I'd be mildly surprised if it releases in calendar year 2009 at all, and more expect it sometime in early 2010. So, it's likely at least a handful of months off yet. At least I'll have Forza 3 to hold me over until then.

An actual Ferrari in Gran Turismo? I miss my GT4 game, my PS2 is back in the UK, not that it'll work here in the US anyway, different TV standards and power, I don't think my PS2 will run on 110v even if I got myself a power socket converter.

I've been looking at getting a ps3 for a while.Is it really worth getting one of the bigger mb ones, as i store all my music on my pc?.ie is there anything else the console needs memory for ?

Depends how many demos and game updates you download. You can get iPlayer on it as well.

I've filled my 40Gb drive with not very much (gamesaves+updates+wipeout(download)+home), but just upgraded my HD to 160Gb for £40.

Must say I'm loving NFS shift,really into it,although the daddy is out in december and cant wait for it.Even tho it will involve driving a ferrari f1 car
