As long as his mate Rubens sets it up for him :P

He still beat him regardless this weekend though...:hehe:

True..its random how he was suddenly able to drive the setup issues.

Perhaps he needs to stop moaning and just deal with it - more often.

Well, i've said this elsewhere but i think it was just a shoddy Q2 lap yesterday, although the Brawns have also tended to be a bit better in race trim too. Ross said that he had a decent setup in Practice, but they tried Rubens' and it just made things worse. Although that further suggests that there's no bad blood in the team, to me anyway. And yeah, the moaning is annoying at times but it seems like most of the drivers are guilty of that when things aren't going well, Barrichello included - the only exception is probably Raikkonen, but that guy isn't normal... :D

Only 'cause of Rubens' pit stop issues :P

You mean when he tried to anticipate the SC after Webber's crash? I can see why some pitted, but it wasn't really that likely imo.

No.

"Unfortunately I had a problem on my second pitstop when I couldn't engage neutral and the engine stalled which lost me the crucial time needed to stay ahead of Jenson. After that my brakes were struggling and I couldn't fight anymore so we came home with sixth position.

Wonder if Ross did that remotely

One of my favourite parts of the GP - when they warned Rubens that the other car had brake problems and his first reaction was "can I catch him"... :D

Yeah it was cool when he said that.

Hes a proper racer.

Then he proceeded to take three seconds out of Jenson on one lap and four on the next. :D

Kinda silly when you're having issues of your own and fighting for the championship though >.<

Well if we had more drivers like Rubens, and Lewis doing "silly things" like that, Formula 1 would be far far more exciting.

Hero or Zero moments - we need more of them.

at least he diddn't do a lewis, spin and throw it all away

But he was fighting for the championship, this was against button who was one place ahead of him, rubens was probably hoping to get button to push when his brakes couldn't handle it. Rather than do the impossible and overtake on track after the first lap and without driver error.

Silly in a good way though - kinda like Lewis being 'silly' by continuing to push at Monza... Can't stop a racer being a racer.

I know. But when, like me, you've spent years and years watching Rubens unable to fight for the championship and can see all the signs pointing to this being his last chance to do so... :(

He has to do that though, if he passed Jenson then he would of taken a another point out of his lead.

Still 3 races to go tho - hope its not over in Japan.

He really doesn't have much choice. Rubens can't afford to finish behind Button in any race, he needs to take a sizeable chunk out of his lead and he's not going to do that by playing safe.

Same. If Rubens can get a good few points on Jenson at Suzuka, then there's everything to play for. Jenson's never really gone well in Brazil for one reason or another, so as long as Rubens' luck holds up he should also gain points on him there. And then everything will come down to Abu Dhabi, hopefully. :D

Good thing is, he'll not give up until the slow-down lap of the final race.
