Yes I think it was long overdue and well deserving. Renault was worried about their setup but it actually saved them from another lackluster result.

Fisichella is rapidly approaching the Ralf career stage... retirement. There is too much raw young talent, relatively cheaply available, coming through at the moment. Aspiring
teams want a piece of the action now while it's inexpensive, malleable and hungry.
