Apparantly Barichello has been asked to share data with Button after withdrawing it part way through one of the practise sessions. Barichello has been faster throughout practise sessions and Button's form took a dive when Barrichelo withdrew his data. So Brawn (allegedly) stepped in. Button says all is hunky dory. Not heard what Barichello has said....but i can guess
This was according to Ed Gorman in the Times.
So....Button not able to set the car up agen?

This is the same Ed Gorman who seems to want to argue with Jenson Button.

Remember his infamous "so do you still want to be champion?" question at Spa?

Maybe Button will hold up Barrichello in the pits today... somehow...

first practice

Rubens Barrichello 1:50.179 first place
Jenson Button 1:50.356 second place

second practice

Rubens Barrichello 1:49.616 eleventh place
Jenson Button 1:49.311 fifth place

I would disregard that article.

this is :bs: there is a title fight and why should Rubens be force to share data.

Learn to set-up the car yourself Button..

Now now... JEN
SON
BUT
TON

They said he might never win a Grand Prix

In his eyes he is Brawn's future. :hehe:

:hehe: well if they get rid of Rubens hes gonna have to learn to setup the car himself or there gonna be back of the grid next year.

He'll probably put Rubens in a cage and torture him until he hands over all of his set up knowledge.

EDIT: It'll be Jenson and Ross playing Good Cop/Bad Cop

As Jenson outpaced Rubens in second practice after being denied data I doubt both the article and the journalist.

Edit..

As I recall from the first 2 practice sessions Button was consistently faster than Barrichello, the only exception may have been when the two were running different tyre compounds.

Added to that Barrichello nearly stuck his car into a wall.

Final practice and qualifying should clear this all up.

No Jenson has admitted that he uses Set-up data from Rubens.

He may well use data provided by Barrichello, my point was the article was plainly false in at least one aspect, as such I would disregard the whole thing.

Didn't this rumour also go around at Monza?

If Button is gaining an advantage then you can hardly blame Rubens for denying him the information now. Brawn appear to have the constructors chamionship in the bag so they're just fighting for the drivers title, why on Earth should Rubens help Button beat him to the championship. Do it yourself Jenson!

Possibly, but then again you don't know about fuel loads.

as for Rubens nearly crashing just means hes finding the limit thats what practice is for.

Though on a side note the track still looks awful. filthy.

Yep. And from what i've seen it's quite clearly a load of bollocks.
