I wouldn't be able to live without Sky + anymore. Set it to record the F1 series at the start of the season and it will record the whole lot for ya. You don't even need to worry about it. Better still if your watching live and you want to go toilet and not miss a thing, just press pause ,then resume when you get back

Nothing wrong with VHS as it has suited my need's for almost 30yr's.

Yep, VHS tapes are still bought in huge quantities. Nothing wrong with them.

I'm sure Sky is awesome but I feel that in this current state of economic turmoil that my money is better spent on hoarding gun's and ammunition . Thus when world kaos ensue's I will only need a simple/old school coaxial cable and a gas powered generator to watch F1 race's in my bomb shelter. Can Sky offer that kinda service ?

Yup all Sky is only an HDD recorder for Satellite TV.

It is VHS compatible though. Good old VHS
